Dress Code

The dress code in the clubhouse is smart casual at all times, defined as open neck shirts with or without tailored jackets or sweaters for gentlemen and suitable smart attire for ladies.

The majority of social events and at formal meals following team matches, open competitions, mixed competitions and other major golf competitions may require a higher standard, such as jacket and tie or black tie, to be specified and enforced by the event organiser. It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that all participants are aware of the required standard of dress.

Tailored shorts with pastel or white sports socks may be worn on the course at any time and in the clubhouse up to 9.00 pm if no formal function is taking place.

a) Coats, anoraks, body warmers, golf shoes and hats are not permitted in the clubhouse and must be left in the locker rooms.

b) In the Clubhouse or on the Course blue denim jeans and skirts, tracksuits, trainers, flip-flops and tee shirts are not permitted and gentlemen must have shirts tucked into trousers at all times.

Members are asked to ensure their guests sign the Visitors Book, and that they are aware of, and adhere to, all applicable Club Rules.

At times when jackets and ties are required at an official Club function, jackets may only be removed with the express permission of either the President or the Captain.
