ABOUT OUR SECTIONS
Ladbrook's Mens section has a huge trophy cabinet of cups for all members to compete for through the season. To go with regular medals, the club's knockouts and Winter League, we have matches again others clubs, and of course social events, and recreational golf is always a pleasure on our 144 acres of course.
The Senior's section is affectionately known as the LOBS.
The Captaincy revolves on an annual basis with the membership ever increasing.
Thursday morning is their appointed meeting time, with a strong social atmopshere created over lunch.
There is ample of opportunity to play in the interclub matches.
The Ladies section offers a full programme of competitions and social events throughout the year and opportunities for all standards of golfers. The Ladies dinner in December is an event not to be missed - especially by the members of committee who act as wine waiters. This is an exceptionally well run and organised section.
Mixed golf at Ladbrook Park is legendary for its appeal and vibrancy and is the envy of clubs across the Midlands. Its not restricted to couples, with a special sign-up system to encourage singles and those whose partners don't play golf. There is a huge calendar of internal mixed events from the fun 13 holers (with quiz afterwards) through to charity events and of course matches against other clubs.
Our Juniors are encouraged to develop their golfing talents with lots of help from their organisers and our professional staff. We look to our juniors to be active participants in competitions or fun golf, or of course both. Our traditions start with keeping the etiquette and rules of the games as the basis for membership.
