Charlotte Dalton

Charlotte Dalton's goal for the upcoming season is to gain entry to all the national tournaments, to win some of the local amateur ladies events and finish in the top 15 at the English Ladies Amateur Strokeplay Championship. A finish in the top 32 in the British Ladies Amateur Stokeplay Championship would ensure qualification for play on the final day.

Long term objectives are to play in the Curtis Cup team and then go to qualifying school to gain full rights on the Ladies European Tour. Charlotte would also like to teach and coach golf, ultimately being successful enough to have her own teaching academy.

Charlotte has two jobs including working in the Kings Norton Golf Club's Professional Shop, needing to save and fund the expenses for the forthcoming season.

'Since I started playing I have had a huge passion for the game and I would be very disappointed if I was unable to have a future career in golf.

I'm a very enthusiastic person and am passionate about being successful. I enjoy life and my objective is to achieve my golfing ambitions. I train hard everyday and realise I will only get where I want to be by hard work and constant practice and playing experience and everyone needs some help.'

Charlotte finished 3rd in the English Girls Abraham Trophy at Alderham after
qualifying by finishing second best most reduced handicap in her region, coming down from 42-21. In the same year she won the U15's Weetabix Regional Final,
going on to win the Warwickshire Under 15 Girls Champion best Gross & Nett.
That was in 2003, and since then Charlotte has made even more dramatic improvements and achievements, including the edited list below, and now commands a handicap of 2.8.
