Juniors Form just the Ticket

A great morning's golf followed by much merriment in a warmer environment was enjoyed by all competitors in this Junior challenge organised by Steve Birkett and his opposing captain, David (one armed man) Heath. Steve is pictured here receiving the trophy on behalf of all those once Junior members. More important than that was the coming together of friends old and new, whose pictures will appear soon in the Gallery section, which will include shots Torvill and Dean would have been rightly proud of. Arran Brown got up and down out of a pond (no he did NOT ground his club) and there were eagles galore. Richard Mountford took the opportunity to make the draw for his Christmas prizes, having secured what were many halved matches earlier. A memorable day.
